Typhoon No. 19 (not yet named internationally) has formed and intensified into a mild typhoon at 8:00 AM on October 5. The Central Weather Bureau issued a maritime warning at 11:30 AM on October 5. The typhoon center is currently located in the sea area to the southeast of Eluanbi, moving in a northwestwestern direction. Its storm circle is approaching the Bashi Channel, posing a threat to the southeastern sea areas of Taiwan, the Bashi Channel, and the sea area around Dongsha Island.

The center of Typhoon No. 19 is located at 18.7 degrees north latitude, 126.4 degrees east longitude, with a central pressure of 998 hPa, maximum near-center wind speed of 18 meters per second, and maximum instantaneous gusts of 25 meters per second. The radius of the seven-level wind zone is 120 kilometers. Currently, the probability of issuing a land typhoon warning is low. Travelers planning to visit southern Taiwan or those needing to pass through the Bashi Channel should pay special attention.
