Many people may have noticed that the moon on November 13 was particularly round and bright. In fact, the full moon on November 14 is the largest “super full moon” in 86 years — the closest the Earth and moon have been since 1948, and the next one won’t come until 2034.

The moon reaches its maximum size at 21:52 on the evening of November 14. It is the largest among 1,073 full moons since 1948. Visibility is still relatively low in the evening, but after 18:00 when it gets completely dark, it can be observed more clearly. On Monday evening, November 14, don’t miss the chance to admire the biggest super moon (Super Moon) in 86 years. The next time you’ll see one this big will be on November 25, 2034 — an 18-year wait.
