Reports of flight disruptions emerged today as TransAsia Airways' booking system experienced abnormalities. Although the company spokesperson firmly denied the rumors in the morning, the Ministry of Transportation and Communications' Civil Aeronautics Administration confirmed in the afternoon that TransAsia Airways will suspend all flights for one day tomorrow. Currently, the TransAsia Airways communications team has not directly commented on the matter, only stating that there will be no press conference today, and information may be released via major announcements or press releases.

On the morning of November 22, TransAsia Airways held an interim board meeting. Due to unsustainable losses and the inability to boost passenger load factors—resulting in daily deficits—the decision was made to dissolve the airline and apply to the Ministry of Transportation and Communications for a long-term suspension of flights. Flight operations at the airport also informed passengers that all flights on November 22 would be canceled due to scheduling adjustments. TransAsia Airways held a press conference at 2:00 PM on November 22 at the Air Force Officers’ Club to provide an explanation.

After TransAsia Airways' official website booking system malfunctioned, Deputy Director of the Civil Aeronautics Administration Fang Zhiwen confirmed that the airline has applied to suspend all international and domestic routes for one day tomorrow. As for whether flights will resume normally the day after tomorrow (23rd), the Civil Aeronautics Administration stated that they will continue to monitor the situation. TransAsia Airways is scheduled to hold an interim board meeting at 9:00 AM on the 22nd to further elaborate on its operational direction.
