Selected by American magazine BON APPÉTIT as one of the top ten cakes in the U.S., Lady M’s mille crêpes cakes are made with over 20 layers of delicate pastry. The soft, finely textured layers with a rich egg flavor have won over many food connoisseurs. Currently, there are three Lady M locations in Hong Kong—Tsim Sha Tsui, Central, and Causeway Bay. The Hong Kong branches offer classic flavors such as original, brown sugar, and the uniquely local “Sesame Paste Flavor.”

The newly opened Lady M branch in Causeway Bay on June 7 is the only location in Hong Kong that serves savory dishes.Store manager Shirley noted that the savory items are mainly targeted at female customers, with a focus on vegetarian options. Among the highlights is the “New York-Style Avocado Bread,” which features generous amounts of avocado spread, fresh avocado, and yogurt. Its delicate and smooth taste combines the creamy richness of avocado with the freshness of yogurt, resulting in a delicious yet not overly heavy flavor. Another recommended main dish is the “Morel Mushroom Risotto with Sunny-Side-Up Egg,” which is rich, juicy, and memorable, thanks to the intense aroma of morel mushrooms blending perfectly with the rice.

The exclusive chocolate mille crêpes cake at the Causeway Bay branch uses imported French chocolate for the filling, with cocoa powder mixed into the mille crêpes layers. The cake is brushed with chocolate and milk chocolate sauces between the layers, creating a rich yet not overly sweet flavor profile, topped with thinly shaved chocolate pieces. The classic mille crêpes cake at the Tsim Sha Tsui branch uses Hokkaido cream and salted caramel between the layers, complemented by the mellow aroma of cream and the sweetness of caramel. The bottom layer of the cake is coated with a light fruit jam. The mille crêpes cake at the Central branch is made with a specially crafted cream and a unique whipped cream recipe. The cake layers are soaked in syrup, then layered with this cream, finished with a shiny glaze on top.
