As the most joyful and romantic season of the year approaches, the Tainan Galaxy Christmas Light Festival not only continues the traditional messages of warmth, care, and peace but also integrates the city’s unique features, highlighting the distinct charm of this cultural ancient capital and creating a special festive atmosphere. This year, to foster a strong Christmas ambiance, the Tainan City Government has planned seven major light zones, illuminating every corner of the city.

This year’s Christmas light festival is themed "Galaxy Christmas." The display across the seven major light zones echoes the concept of viewing Greater Tainan as a cosmic galaxy, where districts of all sizes are like planets in the galaxy—shining brightly, illuminating and complementing one another, responding to the warmth and vibrancy of the holiday season. The galaxy also symbolizes sending blessings and joy through the twinkling starlight to every household in Tainan and every visitor, hoping to bring abundant blessings and happiness for the new year as the old year ends and the new begins.
