Since the opening of the 2016 New Taipei City Happy Christmas Town, exciting events have been launched every week, attracting thousands of visitors from across the country. The most anticipated highlight, the "Mega Christmas Concert," will be held for three consecutive days this year (December 16, 17, and 18) at the New Taipei City Civic Plaza. The lineup for the "Mega Christmas Concert" is also spectacular, bringing the best Christmas gift to visitors.

For three consecutive evenings from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM, the concerts will heat up with the most exciting and craziest performances. Under the anticipation of tens of thousands of spectators, the three concerts will be headlined by heavyweight "Golden Song Kings" — JJ Lin and Jam Hsiao — with nearly 30 acts taking the stage in powerful performances. The lineup includes Mandopop supergroups such as Lion, GTM, Popu Lady, and 831, idol heartthrobs Bii (Bi Shu Jin), Wei-Liang An, Chen Shi An, Eric Zhou, Wu Si Xian, Li Yu Xi, JJ Lin (again), Show Lo (again), and others like Drummer Gu, as well as powerhouse female vocalists such as Selina Ren Jia Xuan, Zhu Li Jing, Cyndi Yen, Rainie Yang, Gwei Lun-mei, Tarcy Su, Annie Chen, Katie Chen, Lulu Hsueh, and more. International acts include Korean boy group TOP SECRET and the ultra-adorable Left and Right... along with other hugely popular domestic and international acts. JJ Lin, Jam Hsiao, and Bii have always had numerous New Year's Eve concert invitations, but this year the three male stars have turned down all other New Year’s shows in Taiwan to perform exclusively at the "2016 New Taipei City Happy Christmas Town."

The first concert on December 16 will kick off under the hosting of Sha Sha and the handsome and beautiful GTM duo. Then, the Golden Bell Award-winning hosts Huang Zi Jiao and Hao Jiao Qi will take the stage; on December 17, Huang Zi Jiao will lead the show, joined by Popu Lady’s Hong Shi and Yu Shan as lovely co-hosts, bringing TVBS’s "Global Chinese Music Chart" groundbreaking "blended reality" design to the "Mega Christmas Concert," allowing viewers at home to enjoy the thrilling live performance without leaving their houses. The final concert on December 18 will feature the "Pulingong" comedy duo Hao Jiao Qi and Gu Jiao Qi hosting alongside renowned singer Gwei Lun-mei for the first time, with the glow of Golden Bell and Golden Song awards shining brightly over New Taipei City’s Happy Christmas Town.
The concerts are expected to draw huge crowds, and the New Taipei City Tourism Bureau reminds the public to make use of public transportation to get to the venue (which is right next to Banqiao Station, a combined train and MRT hub) for a fast and convenient way to experience the most dazzling New Taipei Happy Christmas Town.
