The Japanese yen has hit new lows several times recently due to the impact of the U.S. presidential election. People can seize the opportunity to exchange currency or plan a trip to Japan. Taiwan’s low-cost carrier Tigerair has also jumped the gun to launch its first wave of early-bird deals, which will go on sale at 10 a.m. on the 14th and run until 11:59 p.m. on the 16th, with one-way fares starting as low as NT$599, covering all 11 existing Japan routes.

Taking advantage of the weakening yen, travel to Japan is heating up again. Taiwan Tigerair currently operates 15 international routes, including 11 between Taiwan and Japan, with departure cities including Taoyuan and Kaohsiung, benefiting travelers from both northern and southern Taiwan. Travelers might want to plan a trip to Japan to create unforgettable winter memories.
