In recent years, the government has been continuously creating magical landmarks and attractions in Taiwan. Aside from optimizing space utilization, these redevelopment projects also focus on energy conservation, environmental protection, and ecological friendliness—all aimed at building Taiwan into a green-energy city and an international landmark. Recently, Taichung just opened the Liuchuan Blue Ribbon Waterfront, a project that took nearly two years to renovate, transforming the Greater Taichung area into a sustainable urban environment that promotes both natural development and local tourism. The Liuchuan section is located between Section 1 of Taiwan Boulevard and Minquan Road in Taichung City, passing by cultural and historical sites such as the Taichung Literature Museum, the Fifth Market, and Lin Zhizhu’s Art Studio. Even before its completion, the Liuchuan renovation project was awarded the Executive Yuan’s Gold Quality Award, making it the newest popular attraction in Taichung.
