The world is filled with a diverse array of attractions, both man-made and natural, all of which are awe-inspiring. This time, we’re highlighting some of the most abandoned islands around the globe—locations that have been deserted for decades due to factors such as natural disasters, nuclear tests, and military activity. Once-developed areas now lie untouched, where time seems to have stood still. Yet, these sites still boast stunning scenery and preserve remnants of their past.
