To promote eco-friendly environments, farmland improvement policies, and enhance agri-tourism and leisure activities, Yunlin County Government has specially chosen Hua Sha Li to host the Yunlin Flower Sea Festival. After years of development, the Yunlin Flower Sea Festival has become the most romantic flower viewing destination during the Spring Festival. The first batch of flowers in Hua Sha Li are currently in bloom, with more gradually coming into full flower after New Year’s Day. This year, the flower area covers about 30 hectares, and the blooming period is expected to last until the end of the Spring Festival. The opening ceremony of the Flower Sea Festival is scheduled for mid-January in the Gregorian calendar, with the flowers continuing to bloom through the Lunar New Year.

1. The flowers in Hua Sha Li are gradually blooming, and there are currently no access restrictions. Visitors are welcome to come and enjoy the view.
2. Transportation:
(1) Take a taxi directly from Yunlin High-Speed Rail Station or Douliu Railway Station to the flower sea area.
(2) Yunlin High-Speed Rail Station: Take the High-Speed Rail Express Bus from Yunlin HSR Station to Damei Station, then walk to the 7-11 across the street and take the Taisi Bus ‘Douliu–Xiluo (via Raoping)’. Get off at Hua Sha Li Station to reach the flower sea area.
(3) Douliu Railway Station: Walk to the rear station of Douliu Railway and take the Taisi Bus ‘Douliu–Xiluo (via Raoping)’. Get off at Hua Sha Li Station to reach the flower sea area.
(4) Driving yourself: Exit at Xiluo Interchange on National Freeway No. 1, then head south along Provincial Highway No. 1 toward Tongkang. Before entering the urban area, turn left onto the outer ring road, then turn left onto County Road 156 toward Raoping when you see it. There is no designated parking lot, but you can park along the way to admire the flowers. However, traffic congestion may be unavoidable during the holiday season.
