Every year from January to March is the romantic season of fluttering cherry blossoms. Strolling through the pink petals falling like rain creates a feeling of being in an idol drama scene. MOOK Scenic Spots has compiled must-visit cherry blossom spots in New Taipei City’s various districts, with over a hundred thousand cherry trees blooming in succession. Among them, the Taiwan Mountain Cherry, once voted as New Taipei City’s city tree, takes the stage first in January and February, followed by the blooming of the multi-petaled Yaezakura, and finally the Yoshino Cherry, with its overlapping snow-white and pink blooms, brings the grand finale to welcome spring.
Tamsui Tianyuan Temple is a highly popular cherry blossom destination in northern Taiwan, where you can admire the Taiwan Mountain Cherry.
