The wildly popular "Japan Ramen Festival" was held in Taipei in February, where ten renowned ramen chefs from Tokyo, Hokkaido, Fukuoka, and Kanagawa flew their signature broths to Taiwan to recreate the most authentic Japanese national delicacy. Additionally, popular ramen shops in Taiwan such as "Ichiran," "Tanaka Shop," "Nikukara Ramen," "Rokurinsha," and "Afuri" will also have their masters cross the sea to join the event.

The Ramen Festival has been held for many years in cities like Tokyo, Hokkaido, and Fukuoka, attracting hundreds of thousands of foodies each time. For its first appearance in Taiwan, carefully selected shops that are must-visits for travelers in Japan were chosen, including Tokyo's "4...", Hokkaido's "Hakodate Kitchen Ajisai," "Yamayama Shop," and Fukuoka's "Kurume Ramen" and "Anshin Ramen."

Each region in Japan offers unique ramen styles, and the exclusive secret soup recipes are the key to winning over food lovers. The basic broths are divided into four types: pork bone, soy sauce, miso, and salt. All these varieties will be available at the first Japan Ramen Festival, along with chicken white broth and soy sauce fish broth simmered with dried sardines. Some shops even add beef tongue to their noodles.

The inaugural "Japan Ramen Festival" is organized by United Digital Culture. Ichiran’s founder Kawahara Narumi serves as the event’s goodwill ambassador. Sales begin on February 6.
