A Fairytale New Attraction by Jimmy Liao – Taiwan’s First Artistic Farm

After five months of renovation, the Elegant Farmer Art & Cultural Farm reopened in 2017, founded by a group of passionate young individuals. Leveraging their expertise in art and aesthetics, they transformed the rural area into a creative space full of inspiration. By incorporating vegetables and fruits grown by local farmers, visitors of all ages can learn about the origins of their food. The Elegant Farmer Art & Cultural Farm is the nation’s first art platform that uses the community as an exhibition venue. It has become a renowned highlight of community-driven development and a new tourist attraction in Tainan. Visitors to this approximately 2,000-ping artistic farm can experience a day in the life of a farmer and gain insight into the different ways artists think.
