According to the Central Weather Bureau, starting tonight, the northeast monsoon will strengthen slightly, and with the southward movement of the continental cold air mass, temperatures will drop sharply until the 28th when the cold air will gradually weaken and temperatures will rise slightly. From the 24th to the 27th, affected by the continental cold air mass and increased moisture, central and northern Taiwan as well as the eastern part of the island will experience more noticeable rainfall, while the south also has a chance of localized brief showers. The windward areas and mountainous regions may see heavier rainfall.
