With the opening of the Taoyuan Airport MRT, many attractions have gradually drawn increasing crowds. The Luchu Dafu Mansion in Luchu, Taoyuan, located near MRT Station A17 (Linghang Station), is a 300- to 400-year-old Anhui-style ancient house. The owner specially dismantled it from Anhui, China, and reassembled it in Taiwan, which is highly meaningful. Huizhou-style architecture is one of the most important schools of ancient Chinese architecture, encompassing residential houses, ancestral temples, and memorial archways. It features rich spatial designs and a strong sense of rhythmic beauty. The art of architectural carving is integrated into stone carvings, wood carvings, and brick carvings, giving the structures an opulent and majestic appearance. The mansion also houses Du’s Residence Café, combining an ancient house with a coffee shop to create a serene and peaceful atmosphere.
