Ruin-style photography has become one of the hottest trends on IG in recent years, with many abandoned sites and hidden spots transformed into alternative beauty through the lens. In Shihkang District, Taichung City, there is an abandoned Shihkang Station, which was shut down in 1991. Originally an important stop on the Dongshih Line railway, its remaining platform became a small gathering spot for nearby vendors, known as the Less-than-Carload Platform. Due to its homophonic sound, it’s often affectionately nicknamed the “0 Egg Platform.” The site retains two blue train carriages for visitors to take photos, making it a popular ruin-style photo spot online.
