The third hotel in the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort — Disney Explorers Lodge grandly opened on April 30, taking guests on an exotic exploration journey and offering a brand-new holiday experience. The hotel's four themed gardens each showcase distinctive international styles, immersing guests in uniquely scenic and enchanting atmospheres of Asia, South America, Africa, or Oceania.

The four themed gardens are located around different wings of the hotel and are named after characters from Disney and Disney•Pixar animated films. These include the "Colibri Garden" themed around the lush landscapes of South America from *Up*; the "Turtle Talk Garden" presenting the relaxed scenery of Oceania from *Finding Nemo*; the "Jungle Navigation Co. Ltd. Skipper Canteen" inspired by the natural beauty of Asia from *The Jungle Book*; and the "Rafiki's Planet Watch Garden" filled with the savannah charm of Africa from *The Lion King*, delivering an endlessly delightful experience. Guests can begin their adventure at the Dream Fountain in the hotel lobby and relax with a swim in the outdoor pool — the “Rain Vortex Pool.”

The new hotel has seven floors and offers 750 rooms with either sea or garden views. As the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort continues to expand and innovate, the three themed lands expansion project was successfully completed in 2013, allowing guests to enjoy a variety of attractions, entertainment performances, and experiences across the resort’s seven themed areas. Recent additions include “Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge” and the world’s first Marvel superhero-themed ride, “Iron Man Experience,” dedicated to Iron Man.

In addition, the new hotel houses three themed restaurants: the “Mandarin Garden” is a Chinese restaurant themed around the wisdom of ancient China, inspired by the Five Elements concept in both cooking techniques and decor, where guests can savor authentic rustic flavors, traditional Cantonese cuisine, and dishes from other Chinese provinces; the “World of Color Restaurant” features international cuisine that blends exotic spices and cooking styles, offering colorful and distinctive dishes that combine innovative tastes with a touch of nostalgia; and at the “Explorer’s Club Restaurant,” adventurers can enjoy boutique coffee along with a selection of European breakfasts, salads, chef-made sandwiches, specialty pastas, and chef-created ice creams in a relaxing atmosphere.

Themed around the golden age of exploration in the early 1920s, Disney Explorers Lodge offers guests an exotic holiday experience. The hotel showcases handicrafts and collectibles gathered from around the world, and its rooms, restaurants, and overall design embody the spirit of exploration.
