March is the season when cotton tree blossoms are in full bloom. Their stunning beauty contrasts beautifully with the fields and farmland on both sides. Under the open blue skies, white clouds, and the glowing hues of sunrise and sunset, they paint the rural landscape in vibrant colors. Located in Baihe District, Tainan, the several-kilometer-long Lin Chupi Cotton Tree Blossom Corridor has been internationally recognized as one of the world’s 15 most beautiful flower sea streets, and is the only one in Asia to make the list. From March 11 to April 4 during the blossom season, the Baihe District Office will host the 2017 Cotton Tree Blossom Season event at Lin Chupi. Traffic control at the T-junction of the corridor will also begin on March 4 on weekends, prohibiting visitor vehicles from entering the corridor to maintain the quality of the flower-viewing experience.

Transportation Information:
1. By Car – Exit at the Baihe Interchange on National Freeway No. 3, follow Provincial Highway 172 toward downtown Baihe (but do not enter the city), then turn onto South Route 89 (passing Dade Street and Xiazhuang Road), and then turn onto South Route 90. Alternatively, take South Route 91 and enter South Route 90 from another direction. (South Routes 90, 91, and 98 form a triangular junction.)
2. Public Transport – Get off at Houpi Railway Station, then transfer to Bus Yellow 10 (bound for Liuxi Village Zhen’an Temple). Get off at Zhen’an Temple Station, walk through the Tugou Community, and continue on foot for 1.8 km (about 21 minutes) to reach the Lin Chupi Cotton Tree Blossom Corridor in Baihe.
