Urban Vibes × Historic Alleys: A Dual-Towers Challenge in One Day

Published: 2026-09-25 👁 100 views
Last updated 2026-09-25 — Last year, Taipei Mayor Ko Wen-je completed the ride from "Fugui Cape Lighthouse to Eluanbi Lighthouse" in 28 hours, successfully conquering the "Cycling Dual-Towers in One Day" challenge, sparking a cycling craze in the biking community. But the one-day dual-towers mission, which is tough for most people to complete, now has an "easy version" in Taipei City—a "Taipei Dual-Towers Lite" that can be conquered in just 2 hours. Launched by the social enterprise JoiiUp (a company promoting healthy exercise), the "JoiiSports Taipei Dual-Towers" event invites Taipei residents and tourists to use the JoiiSports app to take on the challenge at an average speed of under 20 km/h from now until May 9. Participants will follow Nanjing East-West Road through the "Towers" City Street and "Towers" Leisure Road, experiencing Taipei’s unique cultural history and local culinary culture on foot.
