The Rueili Scenic Area is located at the border between Meishan Township and Zhushan Township in Chiayi County. Rueili Village is one of the earliest developed areas in Alishan, situated at an altitude of 1,000 meters, where mountain streams have carved out three plateaus. The area boasts abundant tourism resources, including many attractions such as Zhukengxi Trail, Ruifeng Dragon Palace Waterfall, Swallow Cliff, and the Millennium Bat Cave, each offering breathtaking scenery. The Rueili Scenic Area, together with Taihe Scenic Area, Ruifeng Scenic Area, Fengshan Scenic Area, Fenchihu, and Alishan Scenic Area, forms the most essential travel route in the Chiayi region. It is highly suitable for activities such as hiking and eco-tourism, making it a must-visit destination.
