2017 Penghu Fireworks Festival Kicks Off in Spring

The annual Penghu International Marine Fireworks Festival grandly opened on April 20, 2017. The festival is the most nationally renowned large-scale tourism event in Penghu, with its main venue located at the Guanyin Pavilion Leisure Area. This year’s event runs until June 22, featuring over 20 marine fireworks shows to enjoy, with some special performances designed by international pyrotechnic teams from Malaysia, South Korea, Japan, China, and France.

With excellent lighting and a romantic atmosphere, the century-old marine fireworks are truly enchanting. Themed performances by well-known artist groups, along with outstanding local groups and individual acts in Penghu, together create a spectacular and surprising fireworks feast every night, offering visitors an unforgettable Penghu fireworks experience.
