The most economical way to fly to California! China Airlines will begin non-stop flights between Taipei (Taoyuan) and Ontario, California in spring 2018. Trial flights will commence on January 25, and the airline is inviting passengers to be among the first to experience the route, with economy class round-trip fares starting from just TWD 20,000 (excluding tax) for a taste of Ontario.
China Airlines stated that for the Taipei–Ontario trial flights, the outbound flight CI2024 will depart Taipei at 23:40 and arrive in Ontario at 19:15 local time; the return flight CI2023 will depart Ontario at 22:35 local time and arrive in Taipei at 05:00.
China Airlines is offering an early bird promotion for its Ontario trial flights. Passengers choosing round-trips to and from Ontario Airport, or one-way journeys combined with nearby Los Angeles Airport, can enjoy economy class round-trip airfares starting from TWD 20,000 (excluding tax). This limited-time offer is available until the end of the year, while stocks last.

In addition, to provide a higher-quality flying experience for business class passengers, China Airlines also announced the availability of 24-hour Wi-Fi vouchers for long-haul business class passengers. The offer applies to outbound and return flights between December 1, 2017, and February 28, 2018. Passengers must log in to China Airlines’ Dynasty Flyer membership account to redeem the voucher. Non-members should apply for membership before attempting to redeem.
The system only accepts redemptions from passengers traveling in business class on China Airlines-operated 777/350 aircraft on routes to and from Europe, North America (the United States and Canada), and Australia (Sydney only). Segments not operated by China Airlines cannot be redeemed or used. Business class tickets must have a ticket number starting with 297 issued by China Airlines; tickets with 297 issued by other airlines cannot be redeemed.
Flights with four-digit flight numbers starting with 7, 8, or 9—such as code-share flights and chartered flights (e.g., CI8003)—are not eligible for this promotion. Each eligible ticket will be entitled to a number of Wi-Fi Onboard usage vouchers based on the actual number of qualifying segments, for example, a Taipei–Los Angeles–Taipei itinerary qualifies for two vouchers. Wi-Fi Onboard vouchers are electronic codes that must be redeemed online prior to boarding to be used onboard.
China Airlines reserves the right to interpret, amend, or cancel the above terms at any time. For detailed information, please refer to: Free Wi-Fi Onboard Redemption for Business Class.https://calec.china-airlines.com/JCDWiFi/Agreement.aspx?lang=zh-tw&country=tw&locale=zh)
