As the pink cherry blossom season draws to a close, the wisteria flowers that follow bring a storm of purple romance. Wisteria blossoms across Taiwan have entered full bloom, and wisteria-themed cafes are riding the wave of popularity. In addition to the popular New Taipei attraction, the Wisteria Cafe Garden, Ohana Cafe in Sejia Township, Miaoli, can be described as a stunning hidden gem for wisteria viewing. Upon entering the grounds, visitors walk up a short slope where they can admire cute murals and fairy-tale-like landscaping along the walls. Once inside the cafe’s garden area, large clusters of wisteria blossoms come into view. With excellent lighting and beautiful scenery, it feels as if you’ve stepped into a purple fairy tale.
