As the pink-hued cherry blossom season comes to an end, the purple romance of wisteria flowers takes over in this blooming season. Tamsui Wisteria Café Garden, home to Taiwan’s largest wisteria garden, boasts stunning wisteria pergolas, a variety of colorful blooms, and the largest Moai statues in Taiwan, attracting numerous visitors. In 2016, Wisteria Café Garden opened its second branch near Tamsui Tianyuan Temple. Built by owner Mr. Lai over five years, it features an even more expansive and equally breathtaking wisteria garden. The second branch is about a 10-minute drive from Tamsui Tianyuan Temple, covering approximately 10,000 ping, with its flowering period typically from late March to May. This magnificent purple world also draws many visitors who come to admire the blossoms.
