BAKE CHEESE TART sees crowds on opening day; people start queuing as early as 8:30 AM

The highly popular Hokkaido-based cheese tarts, BAKE CHEESE TART, officially opened their first store in Taiwan today (15th). By 8:30 AM, people had already started queuing up in advance, and before the 11:00 AM opening, there were over 150 people in line. BAKE CHEESE TART stated that cheese tarts will be available until closing time, with an estimated 4,000 tarts to be sold today.

BAKE CHEESE TART originates from Hokkaido, Japan, and Taiwan is its fifth overseas location. The Taiwanese flagship store is the brand’s 19th branch. BAKE CHEESE TART champions the concept of “one brand, one product,” specializing exclusively in cheese tarts. They use Japanese cheese from Hakodate and Beniye regions, along with French salted cheese, blending the three types in precise proportions to create a uniquely flavored mousse filling. The tart shells are pre-baked once during production and then baked again with the filling upon arrival at the store. This “double-baking” method results in exceptionally crispy shells.
