On June 5, the stationary front is gradually moving away, with brief showers or thunderstorms still possible across the regions, along with a chance of localized heavy rain in the afternoon. On June 6, most areas will be mostly cloudy, with scattered brief thunderstorms in the afternoon, and also a chance of localized brief showers along the central and southern coastal areas in the early morning. On June 7 and 8, most areas will be mostly cloudy, with scattered brief thunderstorms in the afternoon in the northern and northeastern regions as well as mountainous areas. From June 9 to 11, most areas will be mostly cloudy to sunny, with scattered brief thunderstorms in the afternoon in the northeastern region and mountainous areas. On June 6 and 7, there is a chance of foehn winds in the southeastern regions, which requires caution.

In terms of temperature, this week sees a noticeable rise in temperatures. Except for Lienchiang and Kinmen Counties, the minimum temperatures across all areas have risen above 25 degrees Celsius. Southern counties and cities, along with Taitung County, are expected to reach a high of 33 degrees Celsius on Sunday, June 11. By Friday, the whole island will transition from afternoon thunderstorms to mostly cloudy weather, and starting the weekend, apart from Yilan where there’s still a chance of afternoon thunderstorms, most parts of the island will enjoy sunny and hot weather. Many mountainous areas may experience falling rocks or landslides after heavy rains, so if you have travel plans, it's best to check and confirm local conditions in advance.
