Now it's the turn of adorable deer！ Taking over from owls and Maneki-neko (lucky cats), they've become a popular spot for spring outings and photo ops.

The adorable deer made their debut at Qigu Salt Mountain at the end of 2018. Throughout the New Year’s and Lunar New Year holiday period, the 6.3-meter-tall lucky deer once again challenged the title of Taiwan’s largest themed mascot, welcoming visitors onto the path of happiness with its eye-catching design, attracting discussions from many tourists of all ages.

Qigu Salt Mountain has launched a series of activities for the Lunar New Year holiday. In addition to introducing fun children's attractions such as a small Ferris wheel, Magic Flying Cars, and a carousel within the park, it has also introduced the exclusive "Find the Deer in the Mountains, Luck All the Way" promotional campaign. There is also a dedicated deer-themed sales area, limited-edition deer wish plaques, "Deer" fortune magnets, deer-themed digital oil paintings, and deer-themed binoculars among other exclusive DIY merchandise.

Highlights also include different street performer shows from the first to the sixth day of the Lunar New Year, while from the afternoon of the third to the fifth day of the Lunar New Year (14:30–17:00), there will be performances by the Blue Rhapsody Music Party band. In addition to intellectual attractions such as the Salt Museum and Salt Factory, the park has also jointly launched themed activities and exclusive offers.
