The beloved dreamy, princess-style cosmetics and skincare brands LADURÉE, PAUL&JOE, and ANNA SUI have reportedly exited Taiwan. In the past, PAUL&JOE and Les Merveilleuses LADURÉE were among the must-buy cosmetics and skincare brands for many female travelers in Japan. ANNA SUI has had a presence in Taiwan for a longer time, but now it has been announced that its counters will close on August 31. This news has surprised and saddened many loyal fans.
PAUL&JOE’s packaging often features playful, girlish designs that delight fans with their cuteness.
LADURÉE extended its cosmetics and skincare line from its French patisserie brand, with romantic and luxurious packaging that is highly favored by female consumers.
ANNA SUI uses purple as its main color tone, often paired with black and champagne gold, along with intricate floral patterns, making its packaging very distinctive.
The common trait of these three brands is their packaging style, which adds a touch of romance and femininity. PAUL&JOE has a bit more playfulness, LADURÉE leans more towards a princess or courtly style, and ANNA SUI adds a bit of individuality. They offer consumers more creative choices beyond conventional cosmetics and skincare packaging, and each new design always impresses shoppers.
Due to the expiration of licensing agreements and the Japanese side’s decision not to renew, these three brands will cease sales in Taiwan as of August 31. Details regarding loyalty point redemptions and product clearance will be announced by the respective brands. Fans who love these three brands will need to purchase them abroad in the future.
