The Morinaga Milk Caramel milkshake introduced by McDonald's Japan in the fall of 2016 became a hot topic and caused a sensation. In the summer of 2017, it has once again teamed up with Morinaga to launch this flavor as an ice McFlurry, which has immediately drawn attention upon its release.
As McDonald's Taiwan has discontinued milkshakes, many people traveling to Japan specifically go to revisit McDonald's milkshake drinks. The limited-time summer dessert—Morinaga Milk Caramel flavor McFlurry—is now on sale starting May 31 (exact end date TBD). The ice cream is paired with Morinaga Milk Caramel-flavored caramel and topped with chocolate chips, instantly bringing back nostalgic childhood flavors. Limited sales begin at 10:30 AM each day, with ending times varying by store closing hours. Each cup is priced at 290 Japanese yen.
