According to Magistrate Chang Hua-kuan of Chiayi County on her Facebook page, the Whale Pool at Dongshi Fishing Harbor was originally scheduled to open in July. However, due to the intense heat this year, it has been opened early during the weekend holidays of June 18, 19, 25, and 26 for public use.
A special reminder: To ensure swimming safety, visitors must follow the instructions of on-site management and lifeguards when entering the pool. Running in the pool is strictly prohibited. Please exit the pool during rain or thunderstorms. To maintain cleanliness and hygiene, pets are not allowed in the pool.
