Due to the influence of the typhoon’s peripheral cloud system, on the 12th, most areas will be mostly cloudy to sunny, with scattered brief showers in central and southern regions, and scattered brief thunderstorms in other areas in the afternoon. On the 13th, as a frontal system approaches and under the influence of southwest winds, there is a chance of localized heavy rain or torrential rain; scattered brief showers or thunderstorms are expected in western and northeastern regions, with scattered brief thunderstorms in other areas in the afternoon.
Starting from Wednesday the 14th, under the influence of a stationary front (originating from the southern sea area near Japan and extending westward to Yunnan) and southwest airflow, scattered showers or thunderstorms are expected across the country, with a chance of heavy rain or torrential rain—especially in western regions where torrential rain or higher levels of rainfall are more likely. On the 12th, Kinmen and Matsu may experience reduced visibility due to low clouds; on the 12th and 13th, there is a chance of foehn winds in southeastern regions; coastal areas in southwestern, southeastern, Hengchun Peninsula, Green Island, Orchid Island, Penghu, and Kinmen are prone to swells, which require special attention.
