Giant Heart Swing & Ultra-Cool Ball Wall – New IG Hotspot Shalu Dream Street

Instagram has seen a new wave of popular photo spots. Shalu Dream Street in Taichung, initially planned to open officially during the summer break, opened earlier than expected to meet the high demand from visitors. Besides the previously viral giant heart-shaped swing, the 700-ping space now also features various colorful murals like angel wings, a café, container bar, Koshien Izakaya, a vibrant basketball court, and the most dazzling basketball wall in Taiwan. With so many unique features to capture, it has quickly become a new hotspot.

Originally a food street near the side entrance of Providence University, Shalu Dream Street once flourished with dozens of shops. However, business declined and many stores closed down. Owner Mr. Lin decided to create a “Dream Street” to support young entrepreneurs with big dreams. Within the vast compound, he has planned a container bar, café, izakaya, breakfast bus, and fashion studios, hoping to help more people turn their dreams into reality.
