Budget carriers carve out new territory in Japan Vanilla Air to launch Taipei–Hiroshima route in October?

The popular Facebook fan page "Taiwan Low-Cost Airline Welfare Society" recently posted that Vanilla Air plans to open a new Taipei–Hiroshima route at the end of October, with three flights per week scheduled, sparking heated discussion among netizens.
Currently, there are no direct low-cost airline flights between Taiwan and Hiroshima. If Vanilla Air officially launches the route, it will become the first budget carrier to operate flights to Hiroshima, offering travelers more options for entering via Hiroshima or combining Hiroshima with Okayama. Regarding the online information,Vanilla Air responded that it has not yet applied to the Japanese side but has been continuously evaluating the feasibility of various routes.
