Seoul’s streets are now home to “steak you can eat on the go”—pieces of steak, fries, and veggies on the top of a cup, with a colorful, thirst-quenching drink at the bottom, as if you’re carrying an entire steak meal with you. 1. Road Steak (Gang Chwan Long Yen Shu)

Located in the exotic neighborhood of Itaewon, where international restaurants abound and many foreign travelers visit during their trip to Seoul, Road Steak has been serving handheld steak since the end of 2015. The dish features freshly grilled steak paired with veggies, seafood, or fries on a round plate, with a cup for beer or a drink at the bottom—allowing customers to take their full steak meal with them.

For those who don’t want a drink, the shop also offers a boxed version with the same contents, so travelers can enjoy tender, juicy steak without having to dine in a restaurant. As a result, the shop sees long lines as soon as it opens every day and is a highly popular spot with a high revisit rate among Korean netizens.
