Yuan Mountain
 
Besides its old street, Sanxia has this hidden gem—Yuan Mountain—located just a short distance from Sanxia Old Street. The summit offers sweeping, majestic views, allowing you to take in the urban landscapes of Sanxia and Yingge, as well as snap thrilling photos rivaling those at Eagle Stone Peak or Gunship Rock. However, the area lacks safety barriers, and it gets crowded on weekends, so visitors should exercise caution.

Dragon Boat Rock
 
Located in the suburbs near Neihu, Dragon Boat Rock features a short hiking trail of just a few hundred meters, rich in ecological diversity with a variety of ferns. A massive white boulder stands tall here, resembling a dragon boat—hence its local name. From atop the boulder, you can overlook Zhongyong Mountain, Kaiyan Mountain, and vast stretches of lush greenery. Many visitors come here to capture dramatic shots that create the illusion of dangling off a cliff.
