This year, Uni-President Starbucks has specially selected mature flavors such as milk liqueur, coffee, and sesame, and starting July 12th, has launched five “adult-oriented” Father’s Day limited-edition cakes available for pre-order (priced between NT$380 and NT$850). These cakes not only feature multi-layered textures but also combine various cake bases including layered sponge, tart, and mille-feuille. Among them, two brand-new items — “6T Milk Liqueur Latte Brûlée Tart” and “6T Matcha Sesame Mille-Feuille” — incorporate milk liqueur, matcha, and sesame-flavored pudding fillings for the first time, creating unique new flavors as a heartfelt gift for dad. In addition to cake options, this year also features the internet-famous Starbucks pudding, debuting in Taiwan for the first time with the “Starbucks Assorted Pudding” gift box (6 pieces, priced at NT$450), offering both plain and matcha flavors in one box. It also comes with multiple cup designs featuring customizable messages, along with the limited-edition “Lucky Me” slogan design, making it a refreshing and innovative treat to celebrate dad.

Due to early-bird pre-order promotions, over 80% of customers purchased their Father’s Day cakes ahead of time last year. The peak period for pickups was mainly during the week of Father’s Day, with most purchases intended as holiday gifts. Over 30% of buyers also purchased cakes for casual afternoon tea gatherings.

To celebrate Father’s Day, Uni-President Starbucks is offering special pre-order promotions from July 12th to August 1st. Customers who purchase any combination of six items — “6T Matcha Sesame Mille-Feuille,” “6T Milk Liqueur Latte Brûlée Tart,” “6T Tiramisu,” “6T Lemon Tart,” “4T Coffee Chocolate Truffle Cake,” and the “Starbucks Assorted Pudding” — will enjoy a convenient A-store-order, B-store-pickup service, plus an 18% discount on pre-orders. They will also receive one Father’s Day friend-sharing coupon to enjoy the holiday with dad over coffee.
