As the passionate summer arrives, the radiant sunflowers have also begun to bloom in succession. Located within the event grounds of the Organic Mi Xiang Festival in Sanxing Township, Yilan, a large number of sunflowers have been planted as landscape art. The Mi Xiang Festival concluded earlier this month, but the sunflower sea continues to bloom vibrantly. Therefore, starting today, visitors can pick the flowers for free and also enjoy the beautiful scenery of Sanxing Township.

The Mi Xiang Park has planted approximately 15,000 sunflowers across a 5-acre farmland, creating a stunning golden sea of blossoms. The 2017 Sanxing Mi Xiang Festival was held on July 1st and 2nd, with a focus on environmental protection and child-friendly activities. After the festival ended, the township office decided to continue promoting environmental values by giving away event materials for free to residents and visitors.

In addition to free sunflower picking, the township office is also offering over 3,000 bundles of straw previously used in the event, which visitors can collect for farming purposes.
