New K-drama filming spot: Stroll and enjoy the scenery at Sky Garden 7017

Korea’s newly developed attraction, the “Seoullo 7017” Sky Garden walkway, has sparked a buzz, drawing large crowds of travelers eager to explore this elevated beauty right after its opening. The name of the Sky Garden walkway is deeply rooted in history, with the numbers “70” and “17” representing two different eras. The Korean government revitalized this old elevated highway built in 1970, transforming it into a sky garden pedestrian walkway in 2017.

Recently, the Sky Garden 7017 walkway was also featured as a filming location for the popular Korean drama “Fight for My Way,” making it the first K-drama to be shot here since its opening. The Korean government also appointed popular Hallyu star Song Joong-ki as the tourism ambassador, generating even more buzz around the new walkway.

What makes the Sky Garden 7017 walkway most unique is the chance to experience Seoul from a different perspective. From the 17-meter-high bridge, you can enjoy unobstructed views of landmarks such as N Seoul Tower. The walkway also connects to 17 routes, including Hoehyeon Station near Namdaemun Market, the Namsan overpass, and Seoul Station Plaza, allowing you to reach major attractions near Seoul Station within 20 minutes.

Moreover, the nighttime scenery is truly breathtaking. Blue lights illuminate the entire walkway, complementing the flow of pedestrians and the flower beds, creating a magical atmosphere in the evening.
