Recently, a local photographer from Taoyuan stumbled upon a uniquely shaped wave-dissipating block while heading to Zhulian Fishing Port to capture the sunset and flaming clouds. Resembling an “8” and looking like a pig’s nose, the structure paired with the ever-changing beauty of the clouds immediately caught the attention of many netizens, making Zhulian Fishing Port a new hotspot for photography.

Flaming clouds usually appear in the summer, especially after thunderstorms or on the eve of a typhoon. Typically emerging at dawn or dusk, they showcase a vibrant gradient of yellow to red across the sky, resembling a burning sky — hence the name "flaming clouds."

Zhulian Fishing Port is a leisure-oriented tourist fishing port in northern Taoyuan. Its beautiful beach scenery attracts many visitors, even serving as a filming location for idol dramas. There’s also the chance to savor fresh seafood at the direct-from-the-fisher sales center.
