The “2017 Tainan Summer Music Festival – The General’s Roar” will launch with great fanfare on August 12 at General’s Fishing Port. On the day of the event, there will also be a local market featuring food, cultural and creative products, as well as specialty ice treats, ensuring that music-loving visitors can also indulge in a feast of delicious cuisine.Additionally, simply fill out an event questionnaire on-site to receive an exclusive souvenir, or present any ticket related to the “One Sight, Two Carvings Art Season” to get a limited-edition concert glow stick on the day of the Tainan Summer Music Festival, allowing everyone to enjoy the natural beauty of General’s area.

In response to the Tainan Summer Music Festival, traffic control measures will be flexibly implemented from 9:00 AM to 12:00 AM on August 12 at South Route 25-1 (from Provincial Highway 61 to General’s Fishing Port), as well as roads around General’s Fishing Port and Mashagou Coastal Recreation Area. Motorists are advised to follow the directions of police officers and traffic guides and to pay attention to road safety.

Those arriving by motorcycle or car are also advised to park in designated areas around the venue as directed by traffic personnel, and to remember their parking location (Car Parking Zones 1–5 and Motorcycle Parking Zones A & B; see attached diagram). The organizer will also arrange flexible shuttle bus services to transport visitors whose vehicles are parked farther away to the event venue.

Alternatively, you can take the Greater Tainan Bus to reach the venue. Take the Blue Main Line from Tainan Railway Station to Jiali Station, or take the Brown Main Line from Xinying Railway Station to Jiali Station, then transfer to the Blue 10 or Blue 20 Branch Line to get to General’s Fishing Port. Visitors are also welcome to call 55688 directly to book a ride with Taiwan Taxi for round-trip service to the venue, with discounted rates available for designated pick-up locations (Tainan Railway Station: NT$700 per car, Tainan HSR Station: NT$1,000 per car).
