Mazes have always been a beloved and fun attraction, offering not only a trip down memory lane to childhood but also a delightful adventure for kids to explore their way through. Now, Tainan has a brand-new maze attraction — the rice field journey in Houbi District, taking visitors into another world of rice stalks.

Integrating local community culture, the farmland has been designed as a maze. It not only allows visitors to learn more about Taiwan’s rural life but also lets travelers escape the urban skyline and freely roam the fields. Spanning 1 hectare, walking through the lush green rice field feels like stepping into a movie scene.

The entire maze takes approximately 15 to 20 minutes to complete, with interactive puzzle activities along the way. These experiences introduce visitors to the “No Rice, No Fun” rural culture, including games such as throwing a giant “{J,” guessing the weight of rice bags, and playing baseball. Both kids and adults can engage their minds while learning about rice culture through play. Additionally, at the heart of the venue, visitors can also explore the rural life exhibition area.
