Blue Bottle Coffee, which has taken the U.S. city of San Francisco by storm and is hailed as the “Apple of the coffee world,” officially entered Japan in 2015. It has revealed that it is expected to open a branch in 2018 within the floor plan of the upcoming Breeze Nan Shan mall, drawing enthusiastic attention and response from fans in Taiwan.

Previously, limited-edition canned cold brew coffee released by Blue Bottle Coffee in Japan also sparked widespread discussion. People not only rushed to buy it in Japan but also scrambled to purchase it through daigou (overseas shopping agents).

Now, Breeze chairman Liao Chen-han said in an interview that not only the renowned Blue Bottle Coffee is expected to open a branch, but the beloved American cheesecake chain The Cheesecake Factory also has potential plans for entry, with negotiations currently underway — generating much anticipation.
