Monitoring data from Europe, the United States, and other regions also simulate that between next Tuesday and Wednesday, a tropical depression will pass through the Bashi Channel. If a typhoon forms in the southeastern waters of Taiwan next Thursday (8/24), it could impact the country—something to keep an eye on.
The Universiade opens this weekend, and next week will see the Dadaocheng Fireworks display. Numerous travel events across Taiwan are also in full swing during the summer vacation. When going out, remember sun protection, as most monitoring stations have recently reported dangerous levels of ultraviolet radiation. Exposure for just 15 consecutive minutes can cause sunburn, so make sure to take proper sun protection measures and stay hydrated.
