On March 29, the “2015 Haizhu Wetland Eco-Relay Marathon,” sponsored by VAUDE, concluded successfully

The event fully integrated the wetland ecological environment along the second phase of Haizhu Wetland Park into the race. Along the course, runners were surrounded by swaying trees and the fragrance of various fruits, racing through different types of paths including greenways and small bridges, with scenic views unfolding at every turn—offering a truly wild and natural experience.
Participating in a relay marathon in one of the world’s largest wetlands, located far from the city’s central CBD, provided runners with a unique outdoor sports experience immersed in nature and ecology.

VAUDE Running Team
In addition to sponsoring the event, VAUDE (also known as Vaude) also fielded a new team—the “VAUDE Running Team.” All four athletes representing the team successfully completed the race. As usual, the editor accompanied the team as part of the professional support crew. Many heartwarming moments occurred during the event, making it feel more like a family-friendly nature activity. Regardless of age or gender, everyone should pursue health and nature, which is why we advocate for everyone to get moving and run into a healthier world.

After completing the race and receiving their medals, teams gathered for commemorative group photos

This’s not just RUN
The course was challenging, featuring slopes of varying difficulty, turns, as well as tests such as crossing small bridges and tunnels.
The event also incorporated an eco-friendly theme into every detail. The pure, natural air served as a thorough cleanse for the lungs, and participants could enjoy sightings of various aquatic plants and wild birds along the way.
Whether you won a medal or not, the result isn’t the most important thing. What matters more is the teamwork and perseverance you shared with your fellow runners throughout the competition~
This isn’t just about RUNNING again!
Run into a healthier world
Marathons are always filled with heartwarming stories. Take, for example, this barefoot runner who sped ahead at an astonishing pace, his toned muscles earning applause from the crowd. This once again proves that marathons are—much more than just running!
