The cult-favorite croissants from “August Hall,” beloved across central and southern Taiwan, have finally made their way to Taipei. A collaboration between a Taiwanese baking brand and Japanese techniques, the bakery focuses on freshly baked goods made daily in limited quantities, using French cultured butter and a multi-layered folding technique to create delicious croissants that are both crispy and fluffy. Among the most popular must-try items is the “Honeycomb Croissant.”

The Taipei flagship store has officially opened on September 8th at SOGO Zhongxiao Department Store in Taipei City. This is August Hall’s first branch in Taipei and will collaborate with Japan’s JA Agricultural Cooperative to launch an exclusive “Okinawa Brown Sugar Croissant” at the SOGO Zhongxiao location, along with a new product debut, the “Arctic Cheese Tart,” which is sure to spark another wave of long lines.
