A new attraction that emerged in Yunlin earlier this year, the “Chenglin Agarwood Sightseeing and Leisure Farm,” covers an area of approximately 5.8 hectares and is Asia’s only agarwood ecological park. Outdoors, there is an elegant Japanese garden, a sand play area, and the most eye-catching feature—a large scenic ecological pond dubbed the “Yunlin version of a water centerpiece.” The park is currently open to visitors free of charge. The original free admission offer was set to end on December 31, but on November 13, its official Facebook page announced indefinite free entry to the park.

The Japanese Zen-style landscaping at Chenglin Agarwood Farm is simple and elegant, with over 80 varieties of trees planted in the garden for visitors to enjoy. Indoors, there are various exquisitely crafted wooden artworks, including the world’s largest thousand-year-old sacred tree from Alishan and a two-story-high thousand-year-old agarwood log. It is an agarwood ecological park that combines nature, environmental protection, and quality, and has become a new photography landmark for travel in Yunlin.
