The "Twin-Tower Ridgeback Bridge" in Changhua lights up at night, resembling a luminous ribbon laid across the land

The Diamond-Type Twin-Tower Ridgeback Bridge has a total span of 250 meters. It is an access road to the Changhua High-Speed Rail Station, connecting the station with Yuanlin City and Provincial Highway 76. The bridge spans the Western Trunk Line of the Taiwan Railway between She Tou and Yong Jing, and from an aerial view, it resembles a giant artwork stretching across the plains.

The Changhua County Government stated that the bridge is equipped with 76 floodlights above and 16 below, projecting onto the ridgeback bridge towers and stay cables. Various lighting programs create dazzling and vivid light effects. Passengers on the Taiwan Railway and High-Speed Rail passing through Changhua can all admire this beautifully designed, novel ridgeback bridge. The lighting is currently being tested, and the bridge is expected to be officially completed and opened to traffic during the summer of 2017. However, the public can already enjoy the beautiful nighttime appearance of the ridgeback bridge, which has become a new landmark in Changhua.
