Located in Taimali and hailed as the most beautiful train station, “Dolang Station” boasts expansive ocean views, with its iconic red railings on the platform, making it a favorite among railway enthusiasts and tourists. To ensure safety and enhance the quality of tourism, the Taitung County Government has decided to carry out recreational facility improvement works from October 1 to December 31. During this period, the station’s observation deck and surrounding recreational facilities will be temporarily closed.

This facility improvement project is subsidized under a key initiative by the Tourism Bureau of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications. It mainly focuses on upgrading entrance facilities and creating a barrier-free, user-friendly environment. This includes constructing new public restrooms, parking and rest areas, and enhancing the overall functionality of related basic services, aiming to shape a clean and locally distinctive landscape.
