The 3rd Riverside Arts Festival is set to kick off on October 7, 2017, and will continue non-stop throughout the month until October 29. This year’s Tainan Riverside Arts Festival takes "Water · Life" as its concept, transforming all aspects of daily life into a maritime existence—where people make water their home, giving rise to different states of life and new living forms.

The Riverside Arts Festival is planned by a local independent curatorial team, aiming to reshape the urban riverside landscape of Tainan through public art along the water. Using the model of a "land art festival," it seeks to revitalize the local area around Tainan Canal, fully showcasing the diverse facets of culture, while also hoping to embed artistic experiences into everyone’s hearts. This month-long festival will collaborate with local artists to install numerous large-scale artworks, allowing visitors to take photos and share their experiences freely. Each artistic setting combines with its surroundings to let everyone feel the local culture.
