The lush, narrow riverside bank lined with dazzling pink flower seas gives the illusion of being in a famous Japanese flower-viewing spot. Located in Beidou, Changhua, the riverbanks of Beidou Riverside Park are covered with Beauty Trees. Every autumn, their pink blossoms bloom in full, creating vast, vivid flower seas that resemble cherry blossoms in full bloom, making one feel as if spring has suddenly arrived.

When in bloom, Beauty Trees present a magnificent sight with their numerous and vividly colored flowers. Due to their purplish-red or light pink hues, they are also called Beauty Cherry Blossoms. Their flowering season generally occurs from autumn to early winter, with northern Taiwan blooming earlier. Each tree can produce between 5,000 to 6,000 flowers, making them a premium ornamental tree species suitable for boulevards and garden landscaping, and highly valued for their beauty.
